Venerable Dhammadipa (Ven. Xingkong) was born in Czechoslovakia in 1949 and is a world-renowned meditation master. He is a learned scholar of Buddhism as well as Sanskrit, Pali, and Chinese philosophy. In 1975, he enrolled in Nalanda University in India to study Sanskrit and Buddhist Philosophy. He then returned to Germany to serve as the Associate Librarian at Berlin University. With the encouragement of Ven. Athurugiriye Nyanavimala Mahathera, Ven. Wijayasoma Mahathera, and Ven. Dikwelle Mahinda, he became a monk in Meetirigala in 1987….cont.
性空法師 (Ven. Dhammadipa) 捷克人, 1949年出生於捷克布拉格，是當今世界一位卓越的禪修老師和博學的佛教學者。性空法師除了母語捷克文之外，還精通梵文及巴利文，並且廣通法、德、英、中、俄、印度、日語等等十幾種語言，能讀能說，溝通無礙。（師父亦精研中文哲學，曾著有博士論文《譚嗣同之仁學研究》)。1973年獲得俄國捷羅斯冷大學俄文文學系文憑，1984年 畢業於印度那爛陀大學梵文系，並擔任該所大學講師……cont.
